This PANDEMIC, We knew we had it coming our way. YIKES!

Yup I’m not kidding we knew it all the while well kinda.

Known to humanity since the 1950s Superbugs have been a feared nemesis. but it is the Medicine industries that are bringing them about; Wait hows that you say? – It’s these medications that are being exploited to such extents that the microbe spends enough time with it to mutate itself to resisting the drug altogether. No this isn’t a new phenomenon but true most do not know. And this occurs mainly as farm animals are given enough and more drugs that microbes tend to gain immunity to it as they live in animal guts. Additionally, the fact that we humans have been depending on medications soo much also makes it the perfect environment for the sprouting of superbugs.

Yes exactly what you are thinking now – We Knew we had a pandemic coming due to the superbugs! Yes, we do already have enough and more of identified superbugs- most famous being Multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter, MRSA and Neisseria gonorrhoeae- And just on the leak of any of these we would be going through a pandemic all over again – is this what lead to covid? No; And answering this question is meant to do no good but begin an international Blame game.

Even if it weren’t covid-19 now it would have been a superbug tomorrow, either way, we were destined to go through what we are going then why? Why have we all been so complacent? When starting from 2010s everyone has predicted a pandemic starting from “The Guardian” to the “FORBES” then Why didn’t we come up with procedures and precautions for the scenario where a new superbug could mean the end of humanity? Firstly; The Fact that its the Livestock get a lot more antimicrobial drugs that provide larger breeding lab. Secondly; The fact that governments still even after this pandemic are not interested to fund the preventive research regarding the superbugs. Thirdly; Antibiotic research doesn’t pay much! Fourthly; Unequal impact- the fact that poorer countries take in the dunk harder just as they are doin now in this pandemic.
